Our Drupal Apprenticeship Program. Come Join Us!

We believe learning opportunities should be accessible to everyone. Bounteous, in partnership with DrupalEasy, created a scholarship and apprenticeship program for historically marginalized groups, to invite professionals who come from underrepresented communities to join our 12-week Drupal training program.

About the Program

Our Drupal Training and Apprenticeship Program is designed to support people who want to continue developing their technical skills, are engaged, energized, and driven by the power of technology. You could say we look for that "spark!" to ignite collaboration and promote personal growth.

From day one, you will partner with DrupalEasy and work alongside world-renowned leaders to learn the ins and outs of the Drupal platform during this 12-week program. Upon successful completion of the 12-week program, you will be invited to join the Drupal team as an Apprentice, putting all the skills you’ve gained to work. The team makes every effort to align company objectives to your relevant interests, and we invite you to become an active member of our community.

To sweeten the deal, Bounteous offers a plethora of unique perks. Here’s a quick snapshot:

Our Drupal Partnership

Bounteous team members have been Drupal users, contributors, and creators for more than a decade and are at the center of Drupal's continuous innovation.

The team has extensive Acquia and Drupal expertise, including more certified Acquia Grand Masters than any company apart from Acquia, the two most certified Acquia developers in the world, and is one of the top three most certified partners in the world—with specialization and expertise across all of Acquia's product offerings.

Team Perspective

We regularly share our knowledge with various communities and are excited to prepare professionals as they learn practical skills, build their resumes, and acquire certifications. To read more about how Bounteous supports Drupal, check out Caroline's Come for Code, Stay for the Community post:

Apprenticeship to Full-Time Testimonial

The course was 3.5 hours Mondays and Wednesdays, plus optional 2-hour office hours throughout the week. It was very foundational, and Mike Anello, our instructor, made sure the students understood the why in addition to the how of the Drupal practice. There were a variety of course materials ranging from screencasts, instructional handouts and videos that made it easy to follow along with the course and/or do additional learning individually.

On the Bounteous side, my main focus was to learn, which was supplemented with access to online learning tools, and Bounteous staff who were more than willing to answer questions. Weekly check-ins with my career coach and Bounteous buddy allowed me to voice any concerns, get clarification about things I was learning, and gain insight to Bounteous processes and tools for project management.

I’ve appreciated the learning opportunity the apprenticeship program has given me. It’s been a steep learning curve, but with a lot of support along the way. Participants will benefit from the program if they are willing to put in the work and take advantage of the time given by Bounteous to learn - and ask lots of questions!
